Authorities say three people were injured, one critically, early Wednesday in a two-vehicle traffic accident at 16th Street and Storz Expressway.
A little after midnight, police said, a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo was westbound on Storz Expressway and a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck was northbound on 16th Street when the vehicles crashed at the intersection.
Police said there were no witnesses to the accident.
The driver and lone occupant of the Aveo, Nichole Carlstrom, 36, of Omaha, was taken to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition. She suffered pelvis and sinus fractures.
The driver of the Dodge pickup, Richard Myers, 66, of Fremont, Neb., was also taken to the med center in serious condition with minor abrasions. His passenger, Marsha Myers, 64, of Fremont, was taken to the med center in serious condition with minor cuts and abrasions.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
