Rainshowers pushed their way into the Omaha area Tuesday morning during rush hour, helping cool off locations that have been under a recent hot spell.
The showers are likely to clear out of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa by noon, said forecasters at the National Weather Service Office in Valley, Neb.
The Omaha area can expect a high temperature Tuesday in the lower 80s.
Tonight's low temperature is likely to dip into the lower 60s, said the forecasters, who added that tonight will also see a 20 percent chance of additional showers.
Wednesday should be mostly sunny with a high temperature in the mid-80s.
