The National Weather Service has installed a program on its web pages that allows the public to create area-wide forecasts.
Say you're vacationing in the Sand Hills, for example, and you want the forecast for the whole area instead of just one community. You can use this tool to generate a regional forecast:
• Look under yellow word “forecast” on the blue left side of the screen.
• Click on “user defined area.”
• Follow the prompts.
