A motorcyclist died after a crash with two vehicles Monday night in Sarpy County, authorities said.
Sarpy County officials said the motorcyclist, Kyle Magwire, 27, of Omaha, was northbound on 156th Street and a 2002 Toyota Corolla was southbound on 156th about 7:20 p.m. The Toyota was turning east onto Chandler Road when it was struck by the 2002 Suzuki G60 in the right rear door. The motorcycle went airborne. A 2005 Honda CR-V was also southbound on 156th Street, and after striking the Toyota, the motorcycle slid along the road and into the side of the Honda.
The drivers of the Toyota and the Honda refused medical treatment.
Magwire, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to Creighton University Medical Center by medical helicopter. He died shortly after arrival at Creighton.
No citations were issued at the scene, authorities said. The investigation into the cause of the accident continues, officials said.
