Omaha police said a man was shot early Sunday morning following a traffic dispute.
Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman, said the shooting happened about 2:50 a.m. near 43rd Street and Dewey Avenue. Ray Robinson Jr., 37, of Omaha, went to the Nebraska Medical Center by private vehicle. He was treated and released.
Robinson told investigators that he was a passenger in a vehicle headed west on Interstate 80 near 13th Street when a slow-moving vehicle pulled in front, nearly causing a collision. When the vehicle Robinson was riding in started to pass, there was an exchange of words, and someone from the slower vehicle fired a gun, striking the victim.
