A 19-year-old man was fatally shot early Friday in north Omaha, police said.
Timothy J. Howell was found outside a house near 14th Street and Ames Avenue about 12:30 a.m. He was taken in extremely critical condition to Creighton University Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
Another man, Spencer Mason, 20, was also shot at that location at the same time, and walked into Creighton about two hours later. His injury is not life-threatening, police said.
In an unrelated incident, Cynthia Hall, 39, was shot near 27th and Fort Streets about 9:15 p.m. Thursday. Hall was taken by a private vehicle to Immanuel Medical Center. Her injury was not life-threatening, police said.
Police had announced no arrests in any of the shootings late Friday. They asked anyone with information on the fatal shooting to contact the homicide unit at 402-444-5656.
