City of Omaha traffic engineers and Nebraska Department of Roads officials provided an update Monday on Omaha streets closed or restricted because of a variety of projects.
Streets closed to traffic:
— Frederick Street, from Westwood Lane to 115th Avenue, for Frederick Street stream rehabilitation, to be completed in November.
— Eastbound Maple Street, 60th Street to Radial Highway, intersection improvements, July 14.
— Westbound Underwood Avenue, 48th Street to 52nd Street, Dundee streetscape improvements, six months.
— 141st Avenue, Blondo Street to Parker Street, utility work and street reconstruction, September.
— Spring Lake Drive intersection, 16th and F Streets, intersection reconstruction, September.
— Blondo Street, 141st Avenue to 144th Street, utility work and street reconstruction, September.
— 60th Street, Woolworth Avenue to Pine Street, sewer separation work, August.
Streets restricted to traffic:
— L Street, from 26th Street to 30th Street, for stockyards bridge deck replacement, to be completed spring 2015.
— Pacific Street, 106th Street to 107th Avenue, bridge widening, Nov. 15.
— 144th Street, Franklin Street to Eagle Run Drive, street widening, Oct. 31.
— 60th Street, Center Street to Oak Street, sewer separation work, September.
— Harney Street, 17th Street to 19th Street, water main installation, two months.
— Radial Highway, 57th Street to 58th Street, intersection improvements, July 14.
— 17th Street, Farnam Street to Douglas Street, water main installation, six to eight weeks.
— 96th Street, Park Drive to Harrison Street, street widening, November.
— Blondo Street, 144th Street to Eldorado Drive, street widening, September.
— 18th Street, Harney Street to Howard Street, water main installation, September.
