A new photography studio opened up in an old building.
The building formerly housed the Downtown Boxing Club and 308 Bar. It was recently renovated into 12 upscale apartments by developer Arch Icon, with a retail space on the first floor.
Brouillette’s studio focuses on senior and family portraits and some weddings. A Sioux City, Iowa, native, Brouillette recently moved to Omaha from New York City to open a studio and be closer to his family.
“The styling is similar to the studios I worked in when I lived in New York,” he said. “Just bringing that feel of a New York photo studio to Omaha...”
Brouillette is the business’ sole photographer, but he said he’s in the process of hiring a receptionist and someone to handle print sales.
