A Douglas County judge on Monday denied bail for a man accused of shooting three people — one fatally — on the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge.
Terrece R. Cox, 23, was formally charged with second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree assault, three counts of using a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person.
Prosecutors allege he shot and killed Shamari Richards, 26, about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. Kevin Jenkins, 29, and Jeremy Fejeran, 19, also were shot on the bridge but survived.
Billy T. Kellogg, 27, of Omaha, is charged with being an accessory to a felony. A judge over the weekend set his bail at $150,000, which means he must pay 10 percent, or $15,000, to be released from jail.
