Humorist and radio personality Garrison Keillor is returning to Omaha.
Best known as the host of the American Public Media show “A Prairie Home Companion,” Keillor will perform Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
He was last in Omaha for “An Evening with Garrison Keillor” in May 2010.
Keillor is also an author and essayist. In his most recent role, he played himself in the movie adaptation of his radio show.
His Midwestern musings are heard by more than 3 million people on more than 450 public radio stations. He has told his stories of the fictional town of Lake Wobegon, Minn., on paper, on air and on stage.
