MUNCIE, Ind. — UNO’s Sami Spenner set two personal bests during the first four events of the heptathlon for a score of 3,35 to lead the Mavs in the first day of the Summit League outdoor track and field championships.
The Mavericks are in sixth place through the first four events with four points. South Dakota leads with 54.5 point.
Amanda Vorthmann finished fifth in the 10,000 meters with a time of 36:34.16.
