City of Omaha traffic engineers have postponed, because of wet weather, until Monday at 9 a.m. two road closings due to construction work:
— 60th Street will now be closed to through traffic from Walnut Street to Pine Street. The closure is due to sewer-separation work by Graham Construction and it will be in effect for three weeks. A detour will be posted.
— Country Club Avenue and 51st Street will now be closed from Decatur Street to Parker Street. The closures are due to sewer-connections work by Roloff Construction and they will be in effect for three weeks.
Also, a westbound lane of Pacific Street has been closed from 63rd Street to 67th Street. The traffic will be “head to head” in the eastbound lanes. The restriction is due to utility work by MUD and it will be in effect for four to five days.
And, a northbound lane of 30th Street has been closed from State Street to Willit Sreett. The restriction is due to a utility shutoff by MUD and building demolition by the City of Omaha and it will be in effect until further notice.
