YORK — An Arizona man awaiting sentencing on drug charges in Seward County had similar charges dropped in York County District Court.
Robert Pardee, 31, initially faced charges in both counties after 29 pounds of high-grade marijuana was found in the trunk of his vehicle after a traffic stop near the Bradshaw exit on Interstate 80.
In a collaborative effort by the two counties, York County prosecutors agreed to a plea deal in which Pardee will face charges of felony failure to appear in court, while Seward County proceeds with the drug charges.
Pardee has admitted to the drug charges in Seward County and is in custody there. He will be sentenced on those charges on June 10.
