FRENCH LICK, Ind. — The Nebraska men's golf team moved up one spot to ninth Saturday at the Big Ten championships, while the women's team remained in 12th place.
Jordan Reinertson led the Husker men with a 74 Saturday, putting him in a tie for 20th at 225. As a team, Nebraska shot 301 for the day, leaving them at 909 for the tournament. Illinois leads at 870.
On the women's side, NU's Cassie Deeg, Jackie O'Doherty, Steffi Neisen and Hannah Luebke are all tied for 43rd at 159. The Huskers are at 634 for the tournament, while Northwestern leads at 582.
Both meets begin their final rounds Sunday morning.
