Visit Yaccarino exhibit before it’s gone

Children know author, illustrator Dan Yaccarino for his picture books including “Unlovable,” “The Fantastic World of Jacques Cousteau” and “All the Way to America.”

He’ll be at Joslyn Art Museum, 2200 Dodge St., on Saturday for a 10:30 a.m. presentation in the lecture hall. Free exhibit-related, hands-on fun will happen all morning in the conference room.

Museum admission is free from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Once inside, you may stay until closing.

Sunday will be the last day Joslyn will have the exhibit “The Fantastic World of Dan Yaccarino.” It has about 70 paintings that illustrate 14 children’s books created since 1997.
