MINNEAPOLIS — The Nebraska women's gymnastics team finished third Saturday in a quad meet with Minnesota, Arkansas and Centenary.
The Huskers had a team score of 196.150, placing behind Minnesota (196.600) and Arkansas (196.350) but well ahead of Centenary (190.425).
Jessie DeZiel, a Minnesota native, led the Huskers, tying for first in the all-around with a 39.475. DeZiel finished first on vault (9.95) and bars (9.925), as well as third on beam (9.85).
Emily Wong also had a solid day for the Huskers, tying for second on vault (9.90) and finishing second on floor (9.90).
NU closes its regular season on the road next Saturday against California.
