An Illinois-based vehicle auction company has relocated its Omaha branch to Springfield, Neb.
Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., a live and live online salvage auto auction company and wholly owned subsidiary of KAR Auction Services, Inc., said its move from South Omaha to Springfield offers more space for storage. The 10,000-square-foot facility sits on 35 acres of land at 14749 Meredythe Plaza in Springfield.
The new facility, which has 12 full-time employees, features a covered storage area to allow for more specialty vehicles and vehicle inspection center office space. It also has the capability of a dual-lane sale, which offers sellers more opportunities to sell their vehicles and buyers more options to bid on vehicles.
“Both buyers and sellers will benefit from the new features,” said CEO Tom O'Brien. “These branch enhancements allow us to offer a greater selection of inventory to better meet the needs of our customer base.”
Insurance Auto Auctions is headquartered in Westchester, Ill., and has more 160 auction facilities throughout North America. For more than 20 years, the company has sold vehicles through weekly auctions.
