Frank's Kraut officially declares Omaha 'The Home of the Reuben Sandwich'
By Sarah Baker Hansen
WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER

Frank's Kraut is officially declaring Omaha “The Home of the Reuben Sandwich.”

On March 14, Frank's will be at the Crescent Moon Alehouse — home of the World-Herald's favorite Reuben sandwich in the city — along with Mayor Jim Suttle. Suttle will issue an official mayoral proclamation that Omaha is the home of the Reuben sandwich, and Frank's will be on site to take a photo of the proclamation, which it will use on cans of Frank's Kraut in the future.

The public is invited to an official “Reuben toast” between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. at the Moon, 3578 Farnam St.
