A team of public relations students from the University of Nebraska at Omaha will spend tonight raising awareness about bullying.
Students have partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands in efforts to increase awareness of the consequences of bullying between the ages of 11 and 14.
“Children from the clubs attending the event will have the opportunity to participate in skits about bullying,” said Christy Jobman, UNO public relations director. “Tips and tricks” will be offered to the children to help prevent bullying.
The event, “Be Bold. Be Bright. Stop the Big O’ bullies,” will be held at 5:30 p.m. today at the Westside Boys and Girls Club.
