Police have arrested an Omaha man in connection with a death that was not originally recognized as a homicide but now is.
Samuel Sprunger, 31, was arrested Monday in connection with the death of Kueth Guor, 38, of Omaha. When Guor was found Thursday near 17th and Nicholas Streets, he was described as simply a man down on the ground.
Lt. Darci Tierney, a police spokeswoman, said Guor was taken to the Creighton University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. Police began an investigation and arrested Sprunger, she said.
