LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) A Lincoln-based advertising agency will be moving the bulk of its staff to Omaha.
Bailey Lauerman began operating in Lincoln in 1970 and eventually opened an Omaha office.
CEO Andy Fletcher told the Lincoln Journal Star that representatives of its out-of-town client base usually visit the Omaha office. Fletcher says the customers prefer the convenience of Omaha's Eppley Airfield.
Fletcher, who was hired in April, is based in Omaha.
He said all of the creative staff of artists, designers and copywriters and the account management staff will be consolidated in Omaha in phases, leaving administration and finance staffers in Lincoln.
The current Omaha office has about 30 employees, with about 50 in Lincoln. An estimated 10-15 people will work in Lincoln by 2015.
Fletcher says some jobs will be lost as redundant positions are consolidated.
