STORM LAKE, Iowa — A teenager in northwest Iowa has been charged after authorities said he wrote a bomb threat on a high school's bathroom wall.
The 14-year-old from Storm Lake has been charged with a felony count of making terroristic threats. He was arrested Thursday and has been released to his parents.
Storm Lake police said the message was found this week on a bathroom wall at Storm Lake High School. Authorities took writing samples and consulted with a handwriting expert.
The message threatened to bomb a gas station. — AP
