An Omaha man accused of killing a pedestrian with his vehicle has pleaded no contest to two charges.
Joseph Brosnihan, 35, was drunk and drove from the scene after he fatally struck Ashley M. Rodriguez, 26, of Omaha, police have said.
He turned himself in the next day.
Brosnihan last week pleaded no contest in Douglas County District Court to motor vehicle homicide and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, both felonies.
Brosnihan was driving home from a bar June 17 when his vehicle struck Rodriguez, who was walking in the 6400 block of Q Street.
Brosnihan was found guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced March 12. — Emerson Clarridge
