Christmas Eve: If you're going out for services or holiday partying, expect wind chills below zero in the Omaha metro area this evening. Overnight lows dropping to about 6 degrees, winds around 10 mph and wind chills of 10 degrees to 13 degrees below zero.
Christmas Day: Cloudy, cold, blustery. A temperature of around 10 degrees much of the day, wind chills around 12 degrees below zero, with winds gusting to 20 mph or more.
Christmas night: The low could dip below zero degrees and wind chills could drop to 20 degrees below zero by daybreak.
Wednesday and Thursday -- Bitterly cold with wind chills around 20 degrees below zero each morning. Sunny skies on Wednesday. Cloudy skies and a developing chance for snow on Thursday. An inch or two accumulation possible.
