Some of the top hockey players in the country will play in Nebraska in 2014 to determine the best high school hockey team in the country.
The 2014 USA Hockey High School National Championship Tournament will be played from March 26 to 30 at Ralston Arena and other facilities in the area.
Organizers anticipate that more than 30 teams will compete in the event. Past host cities have included Chicago, Salt Lake City and this year, Coral Springs, Fla.
“This is a great opportunity for Nebraska hockey fans to see the finest high school hockey players in the country during the five-day event,” said Nebraska tournament representative Michael Hughes. “We will be working with area businesses, the USHL Omaha Lancers, the local Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau to make sure that all of the players, coaches and their fans from as far away as Florida, New York, California and Texas enjoy a stellar championship experience.”
