SIDNEY — A Sidney woman faces charges after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a pair of scissors.
Cheyenne County authorities arrested Alicia D. Green, 30, Monday night, according to an arrest affidavit made available by the Cheyenne County Attorney’s Office. She has been charged with second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
According to the affidavit, Sidney police were called to a report of a disturbance at an apartment. The woman, identified as Green, had barricaded herself in the apartment and would not let officers in.
Officers told the woman they wanted to check on another resident of the apartment, Ronald Conger, but Green said he had jumped out a window. After officers confirmed that he had not jumped out the window, they obtained a key to the apartment from a manager. They found Conger with a stab would to his left arm.
Ambulance personnel took Conger to Sidney Regional Medical Center, where he was treated.
Green told officers that Conger had come to the home to retrieve property after she obtained a protection order against him.
Green was being held at the Cheyenne County Jail. She appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Tuesday.
