Tonight is forecast to be the chilliest night ahead, with lows around 27 degrees. After that, overnight lows are forecast to be mostly in the 30s to near 40 degrees.
Most of the lower 48 states are forecast to see similarly uneventful weather due to a high pressure system that has settled into place, according to the weather service.
If you head to a metro area golf course on Saturday, you may have to factor the wind into your swing. The day is forecast to be breezy, with winds gusting to the mid 20s.
Omaha's normal high at this time of year is in the upper 40s and the normal low is in the upper 20s.
