“Return of Iowa’s Bald Eagle” will be shown at the DeSoto Visitor Center on Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
The program by Ty Smedes chronicles the conservation success of the bald eagle’s recovery in Iowa. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Boyer Chute and DeSoto National Wildlife Refuges.
The show is part of the Art of the Wild Show and Sale from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days at the DeSoto Visitor Center. More than 20 exhibitors will be displaying and selling wood carvings, photography, gourd and feather art and a variety of other mediums.
