Authorities continued to investigate Omaha’s latest homicide, the death of Ronald Brown, 64, who was found inside his home Saturday.
Omaha police found his body about 1 p.m., after officers were dispatched to the home to check on someone’s well-being.
Police have not released a cause of death, but it was ruled a homicide — the city’s 34th this year.
Brown moved into the house about 12 years ago, a neighbor said Monday, to care for his ailing mother. She died a few years ago, said the neighbor, who declined to be identified.
Neighbors said Brown had reported feeling ill recently, and he was seeing a doctor.
