Creighton tied a school-record with its eighth straight home win, beating Evansville 25-15, 25-19, 25-20 Friday at Sokol Arena for its fourth straight Missouri Valley Conference sweep.
The Bluejays never trailed in the contest, the first time they've done that since 2008. Creighton is 19-3 overall and 10-1 in the Valley, a half-game behind first-place Northern Iowa (20-6, 11-1).
Kelli Browning had a match-high 16 kills, .556 hitting. Leah McNary added 14 kills.
The Jays also had 86 digs, second-most in program history for a three-set match. Creighton is back in action Saturday at 4 p.m., hosting Southern Illinois (18-5, 8-4 MVC), the lone Valley school to beat CU this season.
