Republican U.S. Rep. Lee Terry’s Democratic challenger raised less than a third of what Terry did during the last quarter.
But the campaign manager for Douglas County Treasurer John Ewing said the Democrat is well-positioned going into the last few weeks of the election. In the quarter, which runs from July to September, Ewing raised $150,000 and spent $102,000.
He had $137,000 cash on hand Sept. 30.
During the same quarter, Terry raised $490,000. He had $276,000 cash on hand Sept. 30.
