Business owners interested in upcoming rate changes related to Omaha's sewer project can get more information at a meeting Thursday at the Westside Community Conference Center.
The meeting will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3534 South 108th St. City officials will be on hand to answer questions about a new rate plan that would assess charges based on each business' water meter size. It's a change from the current plan, which faced opposition from large industrial users that would have paid for a significant part of the more than $2 billion project.
The city has an online calculator to help businesses figure out their charges at omahacso.com
