Creighton to play six games on ESPN networks

Creighton men’s basketball will make at least six appearances on the ESPN family of television networks this season, part of the Missouri Valley Conference record 48-game telecast package, Commissioner Doug Elgin announced Thursday.

Creighton’s games that will be shown by ESPN and its networks include Nov. 23 (Wisconsin), Nov. 24 (Arkansas/Arizona State), Wichita State (Jan. 19), Southern Illinois (Jan. 27), Illinois State (Feb. 9) and Evansville (Feb. 16).

Four of the games will air on ESPN2 and one on ESPNU. The Jan. 27 contest at Southern Illinois will air on either ESPNU or ESPN3, with a decision made in early January.
