Memory: “Was stationed at Schierstein on the Rhine River, five kilometers south of Wiesbaden, Germany. My role was that of a radio operator, maintaining communications between the headquarters at Schierstein and the naval patrol craft operating on the American-patrolled sector of the Rhine River. Outstanding memories.”
