The parents of a child injured in a crash that killed four people near Blue Hill, Neb., said Saturday their daughter will make a full recovery.
Marty and Jessica Alber, parents of Taylor Alber, 7, also thanked all responders and health care workers who have cared for their child.
Taylor is at Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha.
"Taylor is feeling a little better each day. She is healing from a lacerated liver, a slightly deflated lung and a badly broken arm. We expect her to make a full recovery,'' the parents said in a statement.
"We share our deepest sympathy with all of the families affected by this tragedy, especially those who have experienced loss. Our hearts and prayers are with them at this time.''
Taylor was one of five children injured in the Wednesday crash that killed a school bus driver, a truck driver and two students.
