Wine dinner at Sullivan's
Sullivan's Steakhouse is having a “Wines of the World” wine dinner Aug. 30. The dinner will include four wines from California, New Zealand, Argentina and France paired with food.
The dinner is $62 per person without tax or tip. The meal begins at 7 p.m. and seating is limited. For a reservation, call 402-342-0077.
Wave Bistro's wine dinner
Wave Bistro is having a wine dinner Sunday.
The five-course meal includes both red and white wines paired with food such as smoked salmon tartare with avocado and pickled English cucumber, pan-seared scallops, Chilean sea bass, braised pork belly and Grand Marnier creme brulee.
The dinner is $54.95 per person not including tax or tip. Seating is limited and the dinner begins at 5 p.m. To make a reservation, call 402-496-8812.
Pop a cork for liquor license
Italian Gardens, which we reviewed last week, officially has its liquor license.
It is now serving wine and beer, owner Jeff Camp said in an email. During the coming months the restaurant plans to add more wine choices and distilled spirits. Italian Gardens is at 1228 S. Sixth St.
O Dining taking break
O Dining and Lounge in the Old Market is closing for vacation Sept. 2-6. The restaurant will reopen on Sept. 7. O Dining and Lounge is at 1015 Farnam St.
