A Nebraska State Patrol investigator received information from an informant that fired Gretna City Administrator Colleen Lawry had received a handgun from Bellevue Police Chief John Stacey, according to an application for a search warrant filed in Sarpy County District Court.
Lawry has never been issued a handgun permit in Sarpy County, according to the application.
The investigator executed a search warrant at Lawry's Gretna home looking for this gun: a Kel Tec, caliber .380, model P2AT. Serial number: JE211.
The investigator found and confiscated this gun: a Taurus revolver, .38 caliber, model 85. Serial number: IL46663.
