Two more elementary-age boys stepped forward with allegations that a 58-year-old male teacher inappropriately touched them in class.
Nicholas K. Richter faces a total of five felony counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child.
The new allegations involve an 8-year-old Mockingbird Elementary student and a now-10-year-old Meadows Elementary student, who told police the abuse began in 2008 and continued to 2012.
In April, Richter was accused of touching three boys over their clothing in the genital area, Ralston police said.
The alleged abuse was said to have taken place at Seymour Elementary between 2009 and 2012, according to court documents.
Richter remained behind bars Wednesday with bail set at $2 million. He must pay 10 percent, or $200,000, to be released from the Douglas County Jail.
Richter worked as a curriculum specialist teaching high-ability learners in math and language arts at the three elementary schools.
He taught in the Council Bluffs Community School District for 32 years before moving to Nebraska schools four years ago.
