DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (AP) — A McDonald's Chicken McNugget that resembles President George Washington is back on eBay.

Rebekah Speight of Dakota City is selling the presidential-looking McNugget to raise money for a church summer camp. She listed it earlier this week, but KTIV-TV in Sioux City reported that the online auction took it down Thursday night.

Bids had reached over $10,000.

Speight says eBay told her the McNugget sale violated state and federal regulations because it was expired food. She says eBay then reconsidered and relisted the McNugget Friday morning.

In an email, eBay customer support says, "we are willing to make exceptions to help your cause."

The price went back to zero, but eBay has contacted bidders to let them know it was relisted. On Friday, the top bid was nearly $229.
