LINCOLN — The No. 8 Nebraska wrestling team earned the No. 2 seed in the Stillwater Regional for the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Mat Mayhem tournament, which will kick off this weekend.
The Huskers will receive a first-round bye and take on the winner of the Ohio State vs. Boise State dual at 3 p.m. Sunday. If the Huskers win, they will wrestle in the regional final at 7 p.m.
This year’s National Duals tournament has taken on a different look than previous years, with four regional sites (Rutgers, Iowa State, Cornell and Oklahoma State) hosting six teams hoping to reach the final four at a site to be announced next week.
