WAYNE — It’s not just the Wayne city administrator who is under investigation by a special prosecutor.
Wayne Police Officers Jessica Bolles and Domenic Consoli also are named in a motion to have Tammy Maul Bodlak appointed to review any possible wrongdoing.
Maul Bodlak serves as the Thurston County attorney.
According to documents filed in Wayne County Court on Jan. 6, Maul Bodlak has been appointed as a special prosecutor to investigate Bolles, Consoli and Lowell Johnson, the Wayne city administrator.
The motion was filed by Amy Miller, Wayne County deputy attorney, and signed by Wayne County Judge Donna Taylor.
It is believed that the investigation is related to testimony at a Wayne Civil Service Commission hearing considering the appeal of Wayne Police Chief Lance Webster and Lt. Phil Shear, who were fired in April by Johnson.
During the hearing, attorneys for Webster and Shear accused Johnson of falsifying documents. Bolles and Consoli were among the police officers who testified.
