Omahan Chad Anderson is a DJ at Rumrunners and car salesman for Performance Toyota, both in La Vista.
He's a cowboy boot-wearing, 35-year-old with a standout personality. We asked him to share five things that are important and represent him most.
Here's what he had to say:
1. Microphones and headphones.
"I was hired for my first gig in Omaha while on a pirate ship dinner cruise in the Caymen Islands over 10 years ago. I've been DJ'ing ever since."
2. Cowboy boots.
"They're on my feet every single day. A lot of people know me for that. I spent a lot of time growing up on my Uncle Alvin and Aunt Sally's farm in Elgin, Neb. They, along with my parents Everette and Sandie, had a huge impact on my life."
3. Workout shotes and gloves.
"Earlier this year, I quit smoking. I started working out quite regularly and love the way I feel and look."
4. Name tag and business card.
"Performance Toyota is my home away from home ... I've met a lot of great people and have made a lot of new friends."
5. PS3 Controller
"My son Christian (CJ) now lives (with his mother) in Las Vegas... It breaks my heart that he isn't here. He is my greatest accomplishment and I love him dearly. PlayStation allows us to interact (online) besides talking on the phone."
