AURORA, Neb. (AP) — A plea of not guilty has been entered for a former Aurora police chief who has been charged with sexually abusing a child.
William Gage, 72, of Aurora was arraigned Thursday in Hamilton County District Court. The alleged victim was a boy under age 16.
Gage was Aurora's police chief for nearly 20 years, retiring in 1998.
His trial is scheduled to begin April 12.
