HILDRETH, Neb. — A Franklin man was in critical condition Wednesday, a day after an accident near here in south-central Nebraska.
Two other people were injured.
Raymond Johnson, 31, was driving north on 29 Road around 9 a.m. when he drove through a stop sign at Q Road and his vehicle collided with Shad Ingram, 38, of Franklin, according to Franklin County Sheriff Jerry Archer.
Johnson was transported by medical helicopter to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney where he was in critical condition Wednesday. A passenger was also transported to Good Samaritan by ambulance for head injuries, Archer said. The passenger’s name and condition weren’t yet available.
A 3-year-old riding in Johnson’s car was not injured.
Ingram’s pickup was hit on the driver’s side and rolled into a cornfield. Ingram was taken to Franklin County Memorial Hospital with cuts to the back of the head. Ingram was treated and released.
