Tonight brings another chance for storms, but not a repeat of Thursday evening, when a rush-hour hail storm pummeled the metro area and was followed by a late-evening wind and rainstorm.
Bryon Miller, meteorologist with the National Weather Service at Valley, said to expect scattered storms with gusty winds, pockets of heavy rain and smaller hail Friday night.
The heaviest rains are likely to move into the metro area after 10 or 11 p.m, and could linger into Saturday afternoon.
Anyone with morning plans for a farmer's market or other outdoor activity should be able to gauge their chances of getting wet with a look-see, Miller said.
The rest of the weekend should clear up, and a chance of storms returns Sunday.
