Roster: Omaha Nighthawks

The Omaha Nighthawks have 66 players on their roster for the start of Tuesday's training camp.
General Manager Rick Mueller said he expects to add at least one more — rookie quarterback Dwight Dasher of Middle Tennessee State — possibly on Sunday, and could get up to the United Football League limit of 70 with a few additions on Monday.
The Nighthawks will open their second training camp Tuesday, three days later than expected. The team had been scheduled to open camp on Friday but had to delay the start because the UFL mandated a uniform starting date for each of its five teams.
If Dasher joins the team, he would be one of four quarterbacks on the roster. The others are former Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch, who is attempting a comeback after not playing since 2006, D.J. Shockley and Daryll Clark.
Shockley was on Omaha's roster in 2010 but was injured much of the season. Clark is a second-year professional out of Penn State who was with the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders last season.
Crouch, Shockley and rookie Jeremiah Masoli participated in the team's mini-camp last month but Masoli, an eighth-round draft pick from Mississippi, has not signed.
Omaha has 26 players on the roster who were a part of the 2010 team at some point last season. The Nighthawks went 3-5 in their inaugural season, finishing tied for last in the UFL.
Five other former Nebraska players join Crouch on the training roster, including Jay Moore, a starter at defensive end last season for Omaha. The other ex-Huskers are cornerback Anthony West, running back Marlon Lucky, wide receiver Maurice Purify and offensive lineman D.J. Jones.
Two former University of Nebraska at Omaha players also are trying to earn spots on the team. Linebacker Jeff Souder will try to make the team after being released at the end of training camp last season. Former Mav Harrison Lingenfelter is one of 11 offensive linemen on the roster.
The Nighthawks will open the season Aug. 14 at Sacramento and will play their first home game Aug. 21 against Virginia at TD Ameritrade Park.
