Five Omaha companies remained on Fortune magazine’s list of the 500 top-revenue companies in the nation.
Berkshire Hathaway Inc. rose from No. 11 last year to No. 7 this year. The other Omaha companies on the list:
• ConAgra Foods Inc., No. 200, down from No. 178 last year.
• Peter Kiewit Sons’ Inc., No. 249, down from No. 238 last year.
• Mutual of Omaha, No. 399, up from No. 408 last year.
• Union Pacific Corp., No. 153, up from No. 164 last year.
Walmart was No. 1 on the list for the second year in a row, posting revenue of $421.8 billion, Fortune said.
