The music at Omaha Symphony Chamber's “Power and Pipes” will strike a chord in your soul.
The concert features a wind showcase by Schubert, a Mozart string serenade and Rheinberger's Organ Concerto No. 2.
The program will be held at UNO's Strauss Performing Arts Center Saturday at 7 p.m.
Organist Marie Rubis Bauer, director of music and organist at Omaha's St. Cecilia Cathedral, will perform with the orchestra. As an organist, Bauer has played across the United States and in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. She last played with the Omaha Symphony in 2007.
Ernest Richardson, in his 18th year with the Omaha Symphony, will conduct the program.
