Cliff Soto is officially off the market.
The 92-year-old Soto was married Saturday to his 49-year-old girlfriend, Virginia Potter.
The wedding took place at the United Methodist Church in Neligh, Neb. The couple met at a Neligh retirement home.
“It's something he would do,” said Savannah Sonnenfelt, 19, of Norfolk, a Soto relative. “He's very outgoing.”
Soto moved to the retirement home after getting divorced. Family members say he is a polished character, always well-dressed.
“He is a go-getter,” said Julie “Sonny'' Crauthers, 54, of Verdigre, Neb., another family member. “He won't stop.”
The newlyweds will now share their own home in Neligh, said Potter's son, Josh Steskal, 27, of Fremont.
