8:05 p.m.: Nebraska moved out of the Hawks Center Monday afternoon when the power went out as gusty winds and rain moved through Lincoln late in the two-hour workout.
It might serve as good preparation for Saturday, when rain appears possible for the Huskers' visit to play Washington in Seattle.
No big deal, said coach Bo Pelini.
"We've played in the rain before," the third-year coach said. "It'll be raining for them, too. You kind of expect that when you go out to Seattle."
Pelini described the practice as a "typical Monday." He said the Huskers worked on some of the offensive problems that occurred Saturday in their 38-17 win over Idaho. NU fumbled eight times, losing three, and committed 10 penalties for 123 yards.
"We'll get it corrected," he said.
Asked if he sensed an elevated anticipation this week for the Huskers' marquee game of the nonconference season and the road opener, Pelini said no.
"There's an elevated anticipation any time you play a football game," he said.
Safety Rickey Thenarse practiced Monday after leaving the game Saturday with muscle cramping.
